Picture taken for article about the 2009 Jesuit Relays in Dallas. Todd was coming of his first 7' jump at the TSU Relays and was the favorite to win the meet. He ending winning with a 6'6" jump on a day that had 25+ mph wind gust and temps in the low 40's.
Todd's winning jump, (6'10" matching PR at the time), at the 2008 Texas 5A State Final. Only 2 competitors cleared 6'10" that day. Todd cleared it on his first attempt and the second place finisher cleared it on his third attempt which gave Todd the win.
Just take a look at his face and you can see that he was truly giving all he had on that jump...........

Todd clearing 7'1" (his PB) at the 2009 Texas Relays. At this meet 5 jumpers cleared 6'9". Todd ended up being the only one to clear 6'11" and 7'1" to win the meet. This was probably his best meet to date. He cleared every height, from 6'6" to 7'1", on his first attempt. He then had 2 really good attempts at 7'3".
